Appointed a Foundation Governor on 11 January 2016 and reappointed in January 2020.
I am a member of the Finance & General Purposes Committee.
I have lived in the area for over 35 years and my son was a pupil of the school in the 1990s. I am a Chartered Accountant and also Organist and Choirmaster at St. Michael's Bramcote. -

Southwell Diocesan Foundation Governor
I was appointed as a Foundation Governor in October 2021.
Before retiring I was a Headteacher at a Leicestershire Infants School.
I am a member of the Strategic Development Committee. -
Mr David Bladen
Southwell Diocesan Foundation Governor
I was appointed as a Diocesan Foundation Governor for the school in October 2018 and was reappointed in October 2022. I am a Member of the Pupils and Personnel Committee.
I have lived in the local area for my whole life and have attended St Michaels Church from birth. My children have both attend the school and my wife also works locally with children.
I am a Chartered Surveyor and am a Director of Musson Liggins who are now based in Beeston. -
Mr Tim Brindley
Chair of Governors -PCC Foundation Governor
I became a governor of the school in 2011, and, through the years, I have served in various roles on various committees. I count it a privilege to now serve the school as Chair of an amazing team of governors.
Any topics we discuss, any decisions we make are made with the pupils and staff in mind. We want to progress the school so that all the team, whatever their role within the school family, experience; ‘Life in all its fullness’.
I am married to Sheila, and we have lived in Bramcote for over 30 years. We have two grown-up daughters and three grandchildren.
We attend a church in Stapleford where I serve as a trustee. If you do not see me at school, you will probably find me on our allotment!
I am not a governor elsewhere. -

LA Governor
I was appointed to the Governing Body in January 2020 appointed by the LA.
Before retiring I was a HLTA at the school and enjoyed my role working with pupils and staff.
I am a member of the P&P committee. -
Mr James Bromley
Parent Governor
Was elected by vote to the role of parent governor in October 2020 and now serving my second term of office following re-election in October 2024.
A member of the Finance and General Purpose Committee.
Is Commercial Director at Bylor JV - Hinckley Point C.
Currently has two children attending Bramcote C of E Primary School. -
Mrs Katharine Prayle
Foundation Governor - PCC nominated
Appointed as a PCC Foundation Governor in October 2024. I previously served on the Governing Body as a parent governor completing two terms of office.
Within the governing body I am Chair of Strategic Development Committee and am a link governor for EYFS.
I have lived in the Bramcote area for over ten years and have two children at the school and one now at secondary school. I enjoy playing a part in the life and direction of the school and sharing activities and celebrating the successes of the pupils.
I currently work for the Visual Impaired Team with Nottingham City Council supporting pupils in school. -
Susanna Wagner
Parent Governor
Appointed as a parent governors in January 2018 and reappointed through parent elections in January 2022.
My role within the governing body as a member of the Strategic Development Committee; link governor for SEND and training governor.
I have been a parent governor at the school since January 2018. I currently have two children at the school and one at Secondary School.
I spent many years working as a commissioner of public services at Nottingham City Council, with a focus on strategic development. I also sit on the board of trustees for Nottinghamshire Sexual Violence Support Services.
I currently work for an Academy Trust supporting them with governor compliance. -
