Soup-er Soup!!
17 March 2016
Following our RE topic on Charities, on Wednesday 16th March, for Christian Aid Class 6 worked in groups making and then selling soup.
One person in Class 6 quoted "it was really fun making soup, but at sometimes stressful. Our group name was the cracking carrot and coriander crew - the soup we made was very nice".
We spent the morning making a range of soups which took about an hour - the flavours were:
Carrot & Coriander
Tomato & Basil
Tomato & Coriander
Lentil
Butternut Squash & Sweet Potato
We also offered an option of bread, cream/yoghurt and seasoning.
Many parents and teachers attended and donated money which was great as this was for a generous charity - Christian Aid which helps many countries in many ways.
To conclude Class 6,Mrs Bodily, Mrs Renton & Mrs Edwards would like to thank anyone who attended our Soup-er Soup fundraising event.
