National Sea Life Centre Birmingham 2017

11 October 2017

Hello Everyone!

Today the children had their very first school trip to The National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham!

We saw lots of different animals and creatures!
Otters, Sharks, Jellyfish, Rays, Seahorses, Catfish, Guitarfish, Clown Fish, Octopus, and Penguins!

When we arrived we were whisked off on a special guided tour! We found out lots of interesting facts!

Did you know, otters are actually dangerous? They have a very strong bite!

We walked through the 360' tunnel and saw sharks, turtles and we met 'Beyonc-ray', a type of sting ray!

After we had our lunch, we went to a 4D cinema 👓 to watch an Octonauts Adventure to the Amazon River! The seats vibrated, lights flashed... there were even bubbles and scents released into the cinema!

We had an amazing day exploring all of the areas in the Sea Life Centre.

All the children are now fully certified 'National Sea Life Experts' with the certificate to prove it!
